This rustic corner restaurant is a true piece of the city’s culinary history. Since 1987, the former produce shop has been serving traditional comfort food. The hostess Manuela, who is the daughter of the original founder Karl Kortheuer, gives each dish something special, from the schnitzel to the potatoes, baked fish, or the cheese dish. Sometimes, it’s surely a heaping portion of the browned butter, but also the love poured into each dish.
